AEGIS SVP™ SHAFT VOLTAGE PROBE
Is your motor safe from destructive shaft voltages? Now you can be sure - easily and accurately measure the voltage on a rotating shaft. The AEGIS SVP™ Shaft Voltage Probe’s unique design of high-density conductive microfibres ensures continuous contact with the rotating shaft. Use with an oscilloscope to determine if your motor is subject to potentially damaging bearing currents.
• The AEGIS SVP may be hand held or mounted on a secure base.
• Simply contact the rotating shaft with the microfibers.
• Measure and store the waveform on the oscilloscope.
• Evaluate the results for the indications of destructive currents.
